Our mission is to provide empowering environments for classified students that foster effective, authentic and engaging learning experiences. We provide flexible pathways for diverse student needs through a student-centered approach.
Students are provided with opportunities to develop their interests, abilities, and independence using a standards-based differentiated academic and vocational curriculum in a safe and supportive setting that develops their social emotional, functional academic, and hands-on vocational skills.
We provide a platform for the generalization and transference of acquired skills so that they may participate as active, healthy, and productive members of their communities. At Transition Academy our goal is for each of our students to exit our program with a clear path for entering the adult world.
