Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) seeks to provide students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.
The Mamaroneck UFSD prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment based on actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion or religious practice, disability, sexual orientation or gender.
Incidents should be reported to the Dignity Act Coordinator (Ms. Rodriguez – Assistant Principal) or a building administrator. The Dignity Act Coordinator will interview alleged victims, witnesses, and other relevant individuals. Disciplinary consequences will be assigned as appropriate according to the Mamaroneck UFSD Code of Conduct.
