Mamaroneck Schools

The Hommocks Special Education Department believes all students can learn with the appropriate support in the least restrictive environment. Special education services are varied and vast. Our continuum of service ranges from resource room to integrated co-teach to special class. The Committee on Special Education, comprised of parents and educators, determines eligibility for these services and annually assesses progress. Students and staff work toward achievement of individual learning goals and access to the general education curriculum.
