Who we are

YES is a non-profit agency that helps students in the local communities of Mamaroneck, Rye Neck and Larchmont find part-time and summer employment. Begun as a project of the Junior League in 1963, the organization is governed by a Board of Directors and run by dedicated volunteers coordinated by a part-time director. Mamaroneck High School donates office space.

What we do

We work with students ages 14-21 who either live or go to school in our community. Our office in Mamaroneck is open Monday through Friday, 10am-2:45pm, during school days. Rye Neck students may call 777-4838 or e-mail us at to make an appointment to meet with or speak to a job counselor.

To List a Job

Call during office hours or leave a message. We will take the details- dates, times, pay, requirements—and list the job in our office. We will either call you with the names of prospective employees or the students will call you directly. We ask that all employers read and sign our registration form. We will keep you on file as long as you use our office. Don’t know if your job is one we can fill? Call and see.

To Look for a Job

Students looking for work through the YES office must be registered (parent signature required for those under 18). Prospective babysitters must have two references. Prospective tutors must receive faculty approval. College students are welcome. Check in with us on breaks. Keep in touch if your college is local.


YES is a non-profit organization which never charges a fee for its service. We are supported by local school districts, municipalities, businesses, civic organizations and contributions individuals who appreciate the work we do with youth. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
