Student Support Services

Dear Community Members,

Welcome to the Mamaroneck Student Support Services Website! As the school year unfolds, the work of our team is both palpable and visible throughout all of the district's six schools. Our teachers, related service providers, psychologists, guidance counselors, and social workers dedicate their work each day to supporting students' social, emotional, and academic needs. We strive to serve as a resource to Pre-K to 12 students’ families who are currently classified as having a disability, as well as those who simply have concerns and questions regarding their children's learning profile.

The work of the Student Support Services practitioners is reflected in four core values:

  • Strong and collaborative relationships between parent, child, and school
  • A talented professional staff who can identify the access points for all children to have learning success
  • A consistently goal driven and personalized learning plan for each child
  • A focus on helping students to become increasingly independent in their learning and advocacy throughout the school years and beyond

Our staff provides a full continuum of resources for students as warranted by their performance-based needs and learning goals. We believe these services enable all Mamaroneck students to not only receive a free and appropriate education, but a rich and enjoyable educational experience!

If you are visiting our site, one would assume that you are looking for assistance in exploring your child's learning needs. The information provided on this site is aimed at helping you with this process. Although myself or our Directors of Special Education are always happy to speak with you further, we encourage you to seek out your child's building administrative team for the first level of discussion.

We look forward to working closely with you in order to meet your child's learning needs.
