Therefore, the Athletic Department supports the concept that student-athletes should work to their potential in the classroom and be committed to achieving maximum academic success. While scholastic achievement is determined on an individual basis, the administration and the Athletic Department reserve the right to determine a student-athlete’s eligibility to participate in athletic contests and practices. Students who are not performing to teacher expectations may receive an Academic Warning Memo filed by the Athletic Director. The student-athlete in question will be required to meet with the head coach and the Director of Athletics to determine an appropriate course of action.
