Comments: Its great to know that so many classmates are still in the area or have

Great site! After 30 years as a computer professional / part-time musician, I finally took the plunge and became a full-time musician and I'm loving it. Greetings friends. Had a wonderful time at the 30th reunion and saw a lot of great folks. Have been a lawyer for 22 years and the proud mother of one son, Francis, for 19 years. Happily divorced. Currently living on the beautiful island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia (3000 miles west of Hawaii) and working for the national government as an Assistant Attorney General. Pohnpei is a rain forest and a natural wonder. Looks like Jurassic Park. Best snorkeling and diving in world. Come visit. All MHSers have a place to stay here. As my son says, "It's all good."

Right now I am sitting in our old typing room at the old Jr. High, in my adult ed.
computer class. The other day I saw our old art room. It brought tears to my eyes! IFor
the first time, my kids walk to school, like we did. Larchmont hasn't changed. It's as
beautiful as ever. If I learn enough tonight to do this at home, I hope I can find this

My husband, Hollywood photographer Elliott Marks, and I live in Benedict Canyon, CA with our son, Harrison and our two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Bernie & Eloise. We recently built a contemporary home, overlooking the Canyon, a project which I am glad is completed--but a dream finally come true. In 1995 I joined the law firm of Miller & Holguin in Century City where I chair the firm's litigation practice. I have a terrific team of people with whom I work and enjoy the practice of law immensely. The focus of my practice is complex commercial litigation. I was sorry I was unable to get back east for our 30th reunion. I applaud the members of our class who spent the time and effort to make the event so successful.
Practicing law in NYC (President of the Real Estate Tax Review Bar Association - but it is not as big a deal as it sounds), living in New Rochelle, still married since 1972, 2 sons, one in college and one a high school senior at Rye Country Day School and I am still playing ice hockey (well mostly sitting on the bench these days) for the NY Lancers of Hockey North America. Does anyone realize how fast a 25 year old skates compared to a 50 year old? I am in Larchmont every day at the train station and checking up on my parents and the town is still great. I enjoy hearing from old friends, (and I managed to see George Bachrach, Matt Greenberg, David Weiskopf, Bill Mahone, David Best, Bruce Bennetts, Chick Strauss and Sara Sonet among others this past year) both near and far, so let me know how you are doing. 1/4/02

After 29 years in the Navy will leave my demanding mistress for some new and gentler avocation this december. Run 6 miles a day or swim. Happily raising my 15 year old daughter. Gotta write in. Great to read all the entries. Sarlo coaching football? Must be prancing on the sidelines like Jagger. I read an entry by Gaylord Yizar of '70. Have to retort - '69 is the best. Oh yeah - I've been living in Clinton, CT for the past 7 yrs. after about 8 in Texas right out of MHS, then about 18 back in Mamaroneck. Divorced with 6 year old son, Daniel Hugo and 14 year old daughter Stephanie. 20th and 30th reunions were great. I guess the whole class hadn't come down yet to remember we had to do a 10th. Very sorry to hear about Warren Plaut. I'm sure there are others on the other side already - whereever that is. Michaelangelo said the same guy (lady, whatever) who created life also created death so, not to worry. Please write. What a joy to read about everyone! Being at MHS from 65-69 was such an exhilarating time. As an illustrator for over 22 years and 40 children's books I am now working on a project everyone has heard of - Curious George. Before that I was illustrating the Biscuit Series. I work out of my home in White Plains where I live with my husband of 20 years, Andy Young, a 1966 grad of WPHS - the other Tigers. My youngest child Bridget is a Junior at Bucknell, my son Matt runs his own business - The Hangman - and my oldest daughter Tara now has a 2 year old which makes me - gulp - a grandmother! I see alot of my 6 siblings, most of whom still live in Westchester. Today I had 12 MHS friends over for lunch and heard about this site - I hope to reconnect with more!

What fun to read about all of you--(although much of what's here is a few years old). It brings back lots of wonderful memories. I usually can't remember where I placed my keys, but I still do remember Mr. Turner's "inexorable-adamant-implacable-unyielding". . . oh there were 5 of 'em-- anyone remember the 5th? And those Friday night junior high mixers. I can smell the pizza. I'm still in Ohio (Cincinnati)--where the pizza is not so good. It's a simple life in the "swing state"--where things are always black and white. Getting remarried, kids are soon to be on their own. Aaaah. Life is pretty good. I think this website is a great idea. I am sorry I never got to attend any of the reunions to get to see all the people I had so much fun with. Comments: Hello to all Faithful Fluid Followers. Well it's been a long time since
my high school days. After graduation we kept the band together, under various names,
finally getting close to stardom with "Little Brother." We cut a mini-album in
Todd Rungren's studio with Tommy Mottola and Sandy Lindzer who tried to market it. Finally
I had to get a real paying job, so I took the exam for the Mamaroneck Police Department. I
was hired in May '81 and was one of the founding members of their bicycle patrol. Promoted
to the rank of sergeant in June '97 I have only 35 months to go until RETIREMENT. I
married Dawn Upham and we just celebrated our 25th anniversary. I have 2 children, Joy a
1996 graduate of MHS and John a junior at MHS who is the starting catcher for the varsity

illiterate! I see Meg Wittner on TV often; once on the series "JAG" (CBS) and
very often in commercials,ie: Payless shoes. I keep in touch (sort of) with Susan (Fiore)
Utter, who is still in Anchorage, AK, and I ran into Angela (Carducci) Vetrano at
Applebee's in Mam'k one day. Some acorns don't fall far from the tree, do they? I'm still
living in New Rochelle (almost 25 yrs.) and John Baldwin (class of '77) and I are married

After graduation I traveled all over, living in Laguna Beach, SF, and Europe. I was married for 27 yrs to Peter Burger (1966); we had 2 sons. Now I'm married to Chris and have inheirited 2 more sons (his)(ages 15, 17, 18, 19). We live in Westport CT. I'm a Nurse-Educator; he's a musician/composer and keyboardist with several albums out. We go to NYC all the time; driving past the Larchmont exit brings it all back...we were a crazy class in crazy times. I remember Duke Schirmer as my best teacher ever. Turns out in spite of us all being stoners we received a magnificent education at MHS; I learned to write there; now I am writing my first novel. We didn't see the point in electing class officers or having proms; remember Valedictorian Albert Franklin addressing us with mile-long hair flying; something about the immorality of Vietnam probably. Comments: After 2 years at Wheaton College (Mass), I left the east coast for
California and have been here since. I finished my degree in Business Admnistration with a
concentration in Accounting at California State University, Fullerton. I worked as an
accountant and later as Controller and Vice President, Finance for a large Commercial
Office Supply company ($400 million annual revenues) headquartered in Southern California
and selling to the Western U.S. Along the way we had an LBO and were bought a year later
by Office Depot. After two years with OD, I left to start my own business. As an antique
dealer, I have some retail space and I also sell at antique shows. I'll be completing the
requirements to earn my Certified Antique Appraiser's credential this April. Life is

It's been many, many years since I set foot in Larchmont and MHS territory- I have been living in the Seattle area since '72, aside from two stints living in London, UK. Good to see comments here from Bob Schuster and John Sarlo, fellow members of the Oreo Zephyr band in high school days. I have managed to stay involved with music, one way or another, over the years, as musician, teacher, manager, festival booker, concert promoter, radio dj, and multimedia producer with Microsoft and Experience Music Project (last couple years). Just started working on a new job with the Smithsonian's Center for Folklife, but still based in Seattle. Got married in college days to Claudia Helms Kertzer, and our next anniversary will be #30! We have a 16 year old daughter Norah, who is seriously getting into music these days.

Comments: I admit that I scrolled through the alumni directory very quickly, but I
saw no entries for the Class of '68. I think there was something in the water the year we
were all born -- isn't ours the class that had no Senior Prom for lack of interest. I'm
particularly interested in tracking down Lynn Parisi and Beth Alpert, if anyone knows
their whereabouts. Anyway, I'm living in NYC and have since I graduated from law school. I
have, until recently, worked for various branches of government, principally as an
investigator/prosecutor of corruption of various descriptions. It is a long, tragi-comic
tale how I have come to be laboring in the trenches as a consultant to a managed care

It's great to see some old friends on this site and amazing how many are living nearby. Spent a very long stint working with P& G soaps (18 years!)...so had a chance to bump into quite a few MHS alum whose contracts I was negotiating. But the more nurturing side of me kicked in and I decided to ditch the NY commute and settle in CT with my husband and 16-year old soccer and lacrosse prodigy (who knew I'd raise a jock -- well, he does play the violin, so there's something of me in his genes). You should know that Betsy Togut is keeping us all safe from the newest Asian Bird flu threats. We've managed to stay linked one way or another over all these years and many, many miles!

Comments: I haven't been in touch with anyone from our class in years. After
graduation I entered a seminary but with the Vietnam war raging I dropped out and joined
the peace movement working for the Catholic Peace Fellowship as a draft counselor down in
the village. Then I went on to Iona where I graduated with a major in English and worked
my way through by driving a taxi for Leon's in Larchmont. I once picked up one of our
classmates Mark Kitchell, who had become a lawyer I think. On another occassion I picked
up Meg (whose last name I forget now, Ryan?) and she was in a soap opera on TV. I then
taught English at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH for 2 years. Then I taught
high school and became a principal at Academia Cotopaxi in Quito, Ecuador (I was 10 years
there). For the past 5 years I have been at St. John's International School in Waterloo,

Several MHS (and maybe one or two MJHS) teachers altered the course of my life -- above and beyond all Kathleen Viola (then Crane). I wanted to mention that here before launching into an encomium to my position in life: approximately 1900 feet above sea level, or to be precise, river level, since I live in Budapest. I have not been married to the same wonderful woman for many (or any) years, although (encomium II-->) having wrought a spectacularly miserable track record in relationships (encomium III-->I) I have now settled down with a kind Hungarian woman who puts up with me (not easy) and manages to have a sense of humor about the whole thing (even harder). Encomium IV-->: I learned German after the age of 42, well enough to translate from it professionally. It says here this information may be edited. My sentiments exactly. Hi again :-) Thought I'd update all this 'stuff' ... Well, Padre Island (Texas) had its first 'white Christmas' since 1845 - 5-1/2" on the island, 12" inland! It NEVER snows here (or so they used to say!) ... until midnight, December 24, 2004! About 95% of the people here have NEVER seen snow - EVER! Moms and dads woke up the kids, cousins, grandmas and grandpas, nieces, nephews, and all the neighbors when the first snowflakes began to fall - and EVERYONE had a blast (me too)! As expected, all roads leading to the Island, as well as most major roads inland, were closed for 48 hours because .... we don't have snowplows! WOW! Comments: Whoa! This is wonderful---connecting with you all after so long. I
enjoyed the 30th reunion so much that I think we ought to have a 31st!!! How about one
every year! Anyway, I remember high school as not much fun because of self esteem issues
(alcoholic dad, etc...), but the reunions are really fun. Got reconnected with several
people who have better memories than I do and remembered stuff about me that I wanted to
forget! Oh well. I am a therapist who specializes in divorce and death of a spouse (fun,

Hi fellow alums! It's hard to believe that 2006 is the 40th annivrersary of the class of 1966 (it makes me feel so old!). I called MHS to ask if they knew of a reunion this year. Alas, no one did. Do any alums know of anything being organized? As for me, I've been living in Paris for the past five years. I work as an editor in the Paris bureau of Bloomberg News (part of Bloomberg LP, which is mostly owned by the NYC mayor of the same name). I live on the Left Bank (15th arrondisement, for those familiar with the city) within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower with my wife of 10 years Shellie Holubek and our 6-year-old son Charlie (who has spent most of his life in France, and speaks French better than I do). Life here is great and we are anything but homesick. (We do try to make it back to the USA twice a year to keep the grandparents, aunts and uncles happy.) Before moving to Paris, I lived in Washington for about 15 years, half of that time working as a copy editor at The Washington Post. That came after several jobs as a newspaper reporter (taking me as far afield as Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska) and then as an editor and writer for a nonprofit professional organization. I've lived in Atlanta since 1983. At age 53, I'm still playing softball. Single since 1995 (after 17 years with Richard Robinson, a Georgia native). My sister (Jamie, MHS '68) and niece (Jordan, age 10) live near Philadelphia, and I visit there often. Got a lifetime pass to The Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 (for donating some Mets memorabilia from the Polo Grounds days), but haven't been back to Cooperstown since then. Flew up to NYC on September 20 and walked around the World Trade Center site in tears. Even though Mom and Dad died years ago, it still felt like my turf. Every place my father and grandfather worked was within three blocks of the WTC, and I felt a connection I had not expected. I'm still in touch with Paul Meyers, Barbara Strauss, Billy Siegenfeld, Steve Miller, Jim Lurie, Paul Robbins, and Arthur Campbell from our class, and Mady Mandel, Tom Mandel, and Kim Meyers from 1967. Not a lot seems to change in my life from year to year, but it's great to be alive and healthy.

25 years later, and back to the MHS website. That says something right there, I guess. Much has happened, including a variety of jobs in book publishing taking my wife Elizabeth and I, and our two girls (now 14 & 17) from Mt. Kisco, where we commuted to NYC for 12 years, to Pennsylvania, the Berkshires, and back to Katonah, where we've been for the last 9 years, (not far from Ginger Benlifer). We started Cross River Publishing Consultants 8 years ago and have been going strong every since.
We've kept in touch somewhat with a few of you (mostly through Ginger Benlifer's parties) and I just spoke with Val Campbell Judkins about three weeks ago.
Other than a lot of gray hair and being somewhat older (not sure about wiser), life has been good. We continue to look forward, now to colleges for the girls, next to quitting the work routine -- though that's somewhat far in the future.
Mamaroneck is still close by, my parents still live in Larchmont, and for those of you who knew my brother Andy, he's an attorney in Placerville, CA. where he's lived for many years.
In short, all's well -- and very much hoping it stays that way!

This is actually Martin's daughter, Maria here. Martin came over from England in the early 60s and returned there after completing his course at Columbia. He travelled the world on various archeological digs before settling into a managment training career. Unfortunatly Martin died on November 7th 1999. After MHS went to Marymount College, then Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. I then met my English husband and, having married, immigrated back to Europe, where I eventually studied at Oxford and Cambridge universities, as well as the University of London! I now live in London but visit both Mamaroneck and my native Italy very, very often. I have two children - Anna, who is 23, is a graduate of University of London and is about to enter London School of Economics to study Law. Laura, who is 19, is a flutist, has attended the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music, and is about to go to Cambridge University to study music, before doing a postgraduate degree in performance studies. Can almost 37 years have passed so quickly? And, how many of us have now relocated to Florida!!! Left my last job in 1998 as right hand to a high-powered (made me crazy!) executive. Had an opportunity to author and teach a communications seminar at our training center, plan corporate events and dinner dances at The Breakers and Boca Raton hotels (for 600!!), write press releases and company manuals and act as liaison ( a fancy word for buffer) between him and the "outside world." Pressure, pressure, pressure!!! Then, my wonderful dad (MHS 1939) suddenly became ill and died in June of 1998. I have since become a caregiver to my darling mom who is in ill health, a babysitter for my sweet little two-year old granddaughter (I now know why God gives toddlers to the young) and a full-time wife, again. My greatest joy has come from family - seeing my only child grow into an accomplished young teacher, wife and mother. I feel as though I earned that Masters degree right along with her. My wonderful and supportive husband happened into my life after my first husband was killed in an accident. He has been my helper, soulmate and rock throughout the past 26 years. He stepped into the role of father to my little girl and they couldn't be closer . My love of singing has never waned - I still dabble (church choir, soloist and at one point a member of Sweet Adelines). Would love to hear from fellow classmates. Don't be strangers!

Comments: Can it be so long ago? Seems we graduated just last week! Who'd have ever
thought the world would turn out this way! Let's see: got married, have 3 kids, and I'm a
Grandmother. Life is good! Ran an amateur theatre company in PA for a few years and
finally got to act as well as be back-stage. Worked for a couple different law firms in
the DC area for a few years, learned computer stuff and then started my own business
nearly 4 years ago. It's doing well, too. My husband also started his own company, and we
work together on projects all over the state. Aren't computers grand? They allow me
to work out of my house, and provide both invaluable assistance and sources of great
amusement.
What a road we travel in 30+ years! Colleges in PA, life in PA, VA, and FL. Even did some
theater along the way. And who'd a thought I'd wind up Prez of my own company, doing CPM
Scheduling for the commercial construction industry here in Florida. Married Donald 30
years ago. Been in contact with several classmates - good memories still being created.
MHS was a priviledged beginning for our generation, better than we knew at the time. I
enjoy e-mail. Would love to hear from classmates - just put MHS somewhere in the subject
of your e-mail so I delete your e-mail along with the cyberjunk. Whatever you want in

Previous Comments: Hi All, it has been a long time, too long in fact. well I graduated, went
to vietnam for 2 tours did various jobs in and around Larchmont/Mam'k. in 1970 I joined
the Westchester County Sheriff's Dept, which merged with the County Parkway Police
becoming the West.Co. Police Dept and I retired in 1990 on a diability.I also spent
15 wonderful years with the Larchmont Fire Dept (Eng.Co.) I am married to a Wonderful Lady
named Ann (Lepre)(MHS 75) for just over 20 years. Have 2 children a son 18 and a daughter
14 I now live in Palm Coast Florida since 1990. I would like to hear from any and all the
friends i had in MHS they were Great Years and Great People. I haven't been back since 73

It seems impossible that 35 yrs have passed... and Walter's is still there! I'm teaching
& living in Pine Bush, NY(Orange Cty). Have been teaching there for 20 yrs- French
& Spanish - sort of the ultimate payback to Mr Marmora. Married 30 yrs, 2
wonderful daughters(27&25). Enjoy lots of travelling. Have been in touch with

In recognition of the good fortune I've experienced, I decided that my second
career would focus on putting back by sharing some of my learning from senior
management positions at Gillette, Nabisco and Sprint. As a result, I am teaching
and managing the center for entrepreneurship at the University of Kansas, School
of Business; and thoroughly enjoying every minute. While this is a long way from
Mamaroneck, as we say here in Kansas, there's no place like home.

Previous Comments: I am happily married for the second time and living in the Fort
Lauderdale area since 1976. This web site is a great idea and I have contacted a few old

Comments: Has it been nearly 35 years? Impossible! We've not aged at all, have we?
I live in LA with my wife of 23 years. We have a 14 year old son and a 9 year old
daughter. Work brought me out here 20 years ago. After college I bummed around Europe for
a couple of years, returning to a go-fer job at CBS News in New York. Now I'm with
Entertainment Tonight, but if it weren't for the salary, the benefits and the security I'd
be out of here in a flash and writing mystery novels in my imaginary Vermont farmhouse. We
can't let our dreams die! I haven't been in Larchmont since 1976. It's frozen in my memory
as the most incredible place to grow up. MHS wasn't bad either. As I help guide my kids
through school I realize even more what a tremendous educational opportunity it was. My
kids are dying to see where the old man grew up, so we may be heading back soon. But I
hear Cook's has turned into a Nathans...so what's the point. If anyone wants to drop a
line, feel free.
