Our
Mission
As one of the elite secondary schools in this country, Mamaroneck
High School's mission is to promote intellectual engagement in an atmosphere that fosters
creativity, diversity, and personal responsibility.
Welcome
Statement
Welcome to Mamaroneck High School! Regarded as one of the finest
high schools in the nation, Mamaroneck High School was recently characterized by the
Middle States Association as a first-rate school with high expectations for student
achievement, diverse instructional strategies, and a positive learning environment.
The major writer for Middle States report went on to say that he had
"never been in a school in which there were so many fine teachers!" In addition
to a superb and dedicated teaching staff, MHS is a very proud of our richly varied courses
that address a wide range of student interests; of our outstanding performing and fine
arts programs; of our sensitivity to students with learning disabilities; of our
articulate, multi-talented and spirited student body; and of the many active, involved
parents and community members who support our high school.
If you have any questions about our school, we'd be pleased to meet
with you, arrange a tour, or provide additional information.
