If you have a question or concern, check out
our frequently asked questions listed below. If you don't find your question
answered here and don't know whom to ask, call the Mamaroneck Avenue School
office at (914) 220-3600 or 3601.
Whom do I call if my child will be
absent? Whom do I call about school bus transportation?
What do I do if I change my address or
telephone number? What do I do if my child has a problem in
class? How do I get more information about
instruction, materials, programs or school operations? Where can I get information about snow days?
How am I notified about No School, Delayed
Openings, or Emergencies? For emergency information call 220-3000 for a recorded message, or check our district's home page (www.mamkschools.org). Do not call the schools or police. Information will also be on LMC-TV cable channel. When weather is uncertain, the Superintendent may call a delayed opening of two hours. In this case, there will be no fire whistle. A phone chain is used to notify parents. The radio stations and LMC-TV should also carry this information. Please make contingency plans for your children; children cannot be left at school since teachers and administrators will not be arriving until the delayed opening of school. In an extreme emergency the Superintendent of
Schools may dismiss school early. Every effort will be made to alert
parents. How can a parent get involved in the PTA?
What are the Elementary School Hours?
