The more you give, the more we can help.

The Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund was established in 1937 to help Mamaroneck High School graduates fulfill their dreams of a college education. Today, the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund continues its mission to provide MHS graduates with scholarships based solely on financial need. Over the years, thousands of students have been able to afford college thanks to the generosity of the Mamaroneck-Larchmont community and friends of our community.

In years past, the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund awarded scholarships for the first year of college only. Recognizing the rising costs of college, the Board recently extended the awards to include scholarships for students in their second year of study. This school year, the Student Aid Fund awarded scholarships to more than fifty MHS graduates.

Here’s what one recipient had to say:

“I realize that it is not only a great honor to have been awarded this scholarship, but it is also a great responsibility. I truly hope I will meet all standards. It also motivates me to know that someone thinks I am worth the investment.”   M.P., recent graduate attending SUNY, Stony Brook.

First year awards are given at an Annual Awards Ceremony in June, which is attended by recipients, their families, donors, and the Student Aid Fund Board.
