Flagship After School Program, By Angela 4th Grade

I am in the after school homework club on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. While we are there we do homework, games and arts and crafts. Ms. Ruggeri is the head teacher. She does a lot of fun things with us.

I asked Ms. Ruggeri why she wanted to work for the after school program and she said she likes working with students one-on-one. I am glad she does because I am one of the students she helps. I always get my homework done because of her and the other teachers who work for the program.

I wanted to know what college she went to to get her degrees. There are students who might want to become a teacher one day and they will know where they can go to get their degree. I found out she went to Boston University where she earned her undergraduate degree. Then she came to New York for her master’s degree at Fordham University.

Ms. Ruggeri likes her job a lot. She thinks its fun because when a kid grows up maybe they’ll want to have the same job as her .

Ms. Ruggeri really helps children do their work. Without Ms. Ruggeri I would not be able to finish my homework for Ms. Pakrul. I think Ms. Pakrul would be disappointed with me if I didn’t finish my homework. Thank you Ms. Ruggeri for helping me with my homework.

I also asked Ms. Ruggeri what jobs she had before she came to Central? Ms. Ruggeri told me she worked behind the scenes on videos and commercials. I feel that it was good for us that she came to Central because she is so helpful to us.

In conclusion, the after school program is a lot of help and fun for kids.
